Conditions of Hire.

The Aquila's Skipper is to be the sole judge of whether it is reasonable or prudent to sail at any given time having regard to state of the weather and the surrounding circumstances.
The owner shall not be responsible for any injury or loss suffered by the hirer or his/hers friends or passengers either in person or property by reason of the negligence of the skipper or fellow passengers or of any person or persons on or about the said vessel or of its equipment.
Without prejudice to the exclusion of liability contained in the proceeding clause and without acceptance of responsibility for the warranty contained in this clause the owner confirms that due diligence has been used to ensure that the vessel is sea worthy for the proposed use and that crew are competent.
The hirer will acquaint all passengers or member of his/hers party with the contents of conditions to hereof and will keep the owner indemnified against all claims by any such persons.
Booking is not agreed until 30% deposit has been accepted. and the balance of hire fee must be paid before commencement of hire.
Deposits accepted cannot be refunded when firm booking dates have been confirmed, unless another hirer for the same date can be found. If successful any monies paid will be refunded less expenses or allowance for any reduction in the rate or time of hire.
Prices quoted are subject to revision without notice unless a deposit has been accepted.
